Kahina is a firm believer in collective intelligence, and in the power of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.

After graduating from law school, Kahina first immersed herself in the world of international law and dedicated herself to tackling global issues. For many years, she led initiatives focused on international law, working in four languages across many different continents.

Driven by the desire to ignite collective action, she progressively – and then passionately – focused her work on organizations and the people behind them.

Through her role as Chief People Officer, Kahina continues to be driven by her ambition to make the world a better place, one organization at a time. She genuinely believes that great things can only be achieved through the development and strengthening of diverse, inclusive, passionate and high-performing teams. Kahina is a lawyer by training and was a member of the Québec Bar from 2008 to 2022, having obtained both her law degree (LL.B.) and a Masters in International Law (LL.M.). She also studied international relations at the Universidad de Cádiz in Spain. Before joining Workleap, Kahina held strategic consulting and international law management leadership positions at organizations including the Canadian Red Cross, Lawyers Without Borders and PwC.

Darla Shaw, CEO of Talent Masters, has a distinguished 25-year HR career spanning small startups to Fortune 500 companies. With a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, an MBA, and a Masters in Employment Law, she holds advanced certifications in HR, Executive Coaching & Project Management. Darla's unique blend of humor, strategy, psychology, and legal knowledge has made her a pivotal figure in creating inclusive, effective work environments across diverse organizational landscapes.

Dan Irvin is a high-energy, fun-loving leader, consultant, motivator, and public speaker whose valuable insights and relatable stories of success and passion consistently set up entrepreneurs and employees across the nation for personal and professional growth.

David Feinberg, SVP of Risk & Insurance

As SVP of Risk & Insurance at Justworks, David manages a cross-functional team, ensuring delivery of small business customers’ health insurance, workers compensation, and other benefits in compliance with regulation across all 50 U.S. states.

Prior to joining Justworks, David covered legacy PEOs as an equity research analyst for Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. After learning the ins and outs of the PEO industry in this context, David pivoted to the startup world, first at WellNet, and then to Justworks. Throughout his tenure at Justworks, David has stewarded partner relationships to expand and enhance the benefits options - health insurance, mental health, fertility, fitness, financial - for Justworks’ customers. David serves as Vice Chair of NAPEO (The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations). 

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia University. He lives in Connecticut.
 

As Bonusly's Chief Customer Officer, Debra combines her passion for an exceptional customer experience with her drive to empower companies to connect, motivate, and engage their employees to build winning workplaces. Prior to Bonusly, Debra was the VP of CS at Beamery and the Chief Client Officer at Namely, to name a few. She has over 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles in Human Resources ranging from in-house HR leadership to HR Consulting, Outsourcing, Client Services, and Customer Success working directly with HR teams across a variety of industries. She currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and two dogs.

With a 14-year tenure in the corporate health and wellness industry Sara has cultivated a deep-seated commitment to employee wellbeing and engagement. She now spearheads a team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives across the West Region of the U.S., empowering them to drive meaningful change in organizations. Mary Cheddie, SHRM-SCP is Divisional Director, Membership Community. 

Cheddie has more than 35 years of domestic and international experience in all aspects of human resources and training. She has extensive experience with strategic planning, M&As, and in starting and turning around businesses.

Prior to joining SHRM, she served as senior vice president of human resources for Interval Leisure Group, Inc. and its affiliated companies. The company was publicly traded on NASDAQ and the leading provider of vacation services with a global consumer membership base of nearly 2 million member families, more than 2,500 member resorts in over 75 countries worldwide, and has oversight for about 14,000 employees. 

Cheddie also served as senior vice president, people with PRC, as well as vice president, human resources, strategic planning, office services, and facilities for The Orvis Company, Inc. in Manchester, VT.

She earned her MBA from Upper Iowa University, a bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey, and is certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional.

Cheddie received the HR Award of Excellence, Hospitality in 2016 from South Florida Business & Wealth. Business Leader Magazine named Cheddie one of the 2011 Women Extraordinaire and in 2012 the National Diversity Council awarded her the Glass Ceiling Award.

She serves on the Board of Trustees for Upper Iowa University, Chairs the Human Capital Committee and is a member of the Governance and Advancement Committees, Chaired the Keiser Career College’s Advisory Board, was a member of the Board of Directors for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) from 2003-2008 and chaired SHRM’s governance and compensation committees. Cheddie has more than 35 years of SHRM volunteer leadership experience at the national, regional, state, and local levels.  She also served on the Waldorf College Alumni Board from 2004 through 2008 and was the President of the Dallas HR Association in 2000 (one of the largest affiliated SHRM chapters). She resides in South FL.

Giselle is a key member of the SHRM Certification Exam Development team, where she plays a pivotal role in working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and administer to HR professionals worldwide.

Giselle's 20 years of military service in the United States Marine Corps have deeply ingrained in her a profound dedication to service. This experience has not only shaped her values but also fueled her unwavering commitment to advocating for others, both within and beyond the workplace.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Excelsior College and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Georgetown University and is SHRM-CP certified.

Davida Rivens, an avid DIYer, brings her creativity to the table when helping companies build solutions to support their employees. Davida spent nine years leading E4E Relief's customer experience and relationship management team before transitioning to the role of Managing Director, Growth & Development. Here, she continues to lean into her nonprofit background to help advance corporate philanthropy - and to leverage her creativity to ensure our clients and their employees have what they need to make it through even the most difficult times.
