Mary Barnes is a change coach with 20 years of leadership experience. She has experience managing people, programs, projects, operations, and more. She has worked in the private industry, local and federal government, and has successfully begun and operated her own companies.

Before founding evolve., Mary honed her skills by providing change coaching and consulting to peers, friends, family, and acquaintances for pleasure. Once the word spread, Mary decided to utilize her skills to benefit to a wider audience and turn her passion into a career adventure.

Barbara Henry, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Fontbonne University and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University.  Barbi has spent the last 25 years working in manufacturing and state/county government human resources leadership. In these environments she has used her auditing skills to assess Human Resources preparedness and objectives for organizational strategic initiatives.  Based on those results, she has written policy, designed training programs, provided extensive employment law and labor relations support to achieve objectives using measurable metrics. This is Barbi’s sixth presentation at the SHRM National Convention as a practicing HR professional.

As Vice President, Client Strategy and Consulting at Globoforce, Derek leads the company’s Insight consulting division. In this role, he helps clients, including some of world’s most admired companies, leverage proven recognition strategies and best practices to elevate employee engagement, increase retention, and improve bottom-line results. In addition to his role leading consulting services for Globoforce, Derek also oversaw the company’s marketing and rewards functions from 2000 to 2010.

Derek is one of the world’s foremost experts on employee recognition and engagement, helping business leaders set a higher vision and ambition for their company culture. As a renowned speaker, author of an acclaimed blog, Recognize This!, and the co-author of Winning with a Culture of Recognition, he teaches HR leaders how to use recognition to proactively manage company culture. His viewpoints and writings are also regularly featured across all major HR publications, including Workspan, HR Magazine, HR Executive, Talent Management, and Workforce Management.

Lance J. Richards, SHRM-SCP, GPHR, SPHR, HRMP is a work force futurist and global HR strategist.  Most recently, he was vice president of Innovation for Kelly Services. Based in Detroit, Lance is one of SHRM's top rated speakers. He is a frequent speaker and writer on workplace issues, having presented at HR conferences around the globe. He is co-author of the Amazon-published book Gen Now (which is available in the SHRM Bookstore). Joyce E. Taber is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice and is a member of the firm's Complex Employment Litigation team. Ms. Taber's practice focuses on defending corporate clients in employment litigation and wage and hour matters, including classwide allegations, in federal and state courts. Ms. Taber also represents clients before the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state/local fair employment agencies. Her practice includes litigation and client counseling under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, and other federal and state employment laws.

Additionally, Ms. Taber counsels employers on independent contractor classification issues, including defending independent contractor classifications before state agencies and advising clients on compliance issues associated with independent contractors reclassified as employees. In his final work with Schwab, Bill consulted to senior leaders within his Enterprise on issues around employee engagement and retention.
