Steve Browne, SHRM-SCP is the Chief People Officer for LaRosa's, Inc., a regional Pizzeria chain. He has 35+ years working as an HR professional in a variety of industries. He has a globally recognized HR blog and author of three books, HR on Purpose !!, HR Rising !! and HR Unleashed !! He is a past member of the SHRM Board of Directors. Steve also runs a global HR network called the HR Net which reaches 15,000+ HR and business professionals weekly.

A thought leader on performance, development, and talent strategies, Chris Mullen is director of strategic advisory at Kronos, a global leader in workforce cloud solutions. With 15 years of experience as an HR practitioner focused on maximizing engagement, Mullen helps organizations inspire their own workforces by optimizing technology and refreshing outdated processes with people-centric solutions to enhance the employee experience and drive better business outcomes. Mullen holds a Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado, where he focused on the impact of mobile technology on work-life balance, as well as a master’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

As the HR Projects Coordinator and part of the Business Services team Bobby manages and coordinates HR projects.  With a focus on process improvement, strategic goals, and vision, Bobby works closely with HR staff and campus leadership to facilitate and collaborate all areas of project management.  

As the University Records Officer, Bobby oversees the records management program for James Madison University including retention and disposition approval of all university records.  Bobby provides training in records management procedures, practices, and use of appropriate forms, as necessary.  Bobby also collaborates with departmental Records Coordinators to help maintain an effective records management program at JMU. 

He provides strategic analysis planning and coordinating for all HR-related records and imaging system (Nolij) information technology support, guidance and consultation to all members of the HR staff.  He also manages the document imaging function in the HR office, including record management, workflow, retention and destruction planning, organization and processing.  Bobby has created a strategic approach to record keeping management in HR ensuring that all record-keeping systems conform to state, federal and JMU policies and guidelines.   He also collaborates with Talent and Development designing and facilitating workshops for campus staff.

Bobby has been at JMU since 2008 and joined Human Resources in 2013.  He holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Master’s Degree in Corporate Communications from Duquesne University.  He is currently seeking a second Master’s Degree in Adult Human Resource Development with a concentration in Leadership and Facilitation through the College of Education at JMU. 

Bobby provides consultation to internal and external customers in regards to electronic records management and training for the HR staff.  Bobby has presented his session on JMU’s mountain of paper regionally and nationally.

Mark S. Fogel is currently a Director for Clifton Larson Allen’s National HR consulting practice. He is a former CHRO for Leviton, Marcum, and Success Academy Charter Schools, Mark has been the recipient of several national awards including SHRM’s Human Capital Leader of the Year in 2007, SHRM’s Innovation in a Down Economy in 2009, and HR Executive Magazine’s Honor Role in 2010. He has also been recognized as a 50 around 50 award recipient by Long Island Business News. Mark is also a part-time educator employed as a Senior Adjunct Professor of distinction at Adelphi University in their MBA program. Additionally, he facilitates the SHRM SCP/CP prep class for HR Jetpack. Mark has presented over two dozen times at SHRM and World at Work national, regional, and local conferences on a broad range of HR topics. Often Quoted in national media, Mark brings a refreshing point of view to every HR discussion.

As President of Berkshire, Beth Ronnenburg, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is responsible for leading one of the most reputable and respected brands in affirmative action compliance solutions. Beth, who became President in June 2011, is the steward of Berkshire's strategic vision, “to help companies build their ideal, balanced workforce.” She oversees all business interests and operations, and more importantly, Beth is a well-known thought leader who speaks regularly at conferences including SHRM, National Industry Liaison Group (NILG), and other national events. She currently serves as a board member for the NILG, where she represents the Mid-Atlantic Region. She is also on the board of the Baltimore ILG. Beth holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from The Johns Hopkins University.

Amy Glass is Chief Executive Office, Senior Facilitator/Coach and owner of BRODY Professional Development. She incorporates a passionate, dynamic teaching approach using humor, group rapport, multimedia, and skill-building exercises to push people out of their comfort zone for transformative growth. Amy has worked internationally with many Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries.

When she’s not coaching professionals, Amy can be found at basketball courts and baseball fields with her husband and two sons in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Erin Siegrist is Director – Workforce of the Future at Erie Insurance, where she also spent time as Compensation Manager and Senior HR Business Partner. Siegrist also worked in HR for Flowserve and HCR ManorCare in HR. She received a psychology degree from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois and a Master’s degree in HR from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of SHRM, National Business Group on Health, and World at Work. She has been published in World at Work’s WorkSpan magazine and serves on their Benefits networking group. She has received the SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CBP, and CCP designations.
