You will learn how to respond to a whistleblowers and manage internal communications to effectively address the issues raised.
The session will cover the most common areas of employee whistleblowing or protected activity and effective strategies you can use to appropriately address the activity. The session will also address frequent employer pitfalls and suggest useful policies and procedures to implement to successfully respond to the activity and avoid potential costly litigation. You will learn how to:
- Draft effective whistleblower policies.
- Manage a response to the whistleblowing.
- Establish the foundation for a defense to any subsequent whistleblower litigation.
