You must be able to adapt your leadership style to ensure you can engage and motivate team members in remote locations and different work environments. This session will share insights that describes the advantages and challenges of leading in a flexible environment and characteristics of high-performing virtual teams. This session will:
· Explain the differences between leading face-to-face teams and virtual/remote teams.
· List strengths and challenges of leading a virtual team.
· Identify what virtual team members want from their team leader.
· List the characteristics of a high-performing virtual team .
· State how generational differences impact team collaboration.
· Demonstrate five leadership behaviors required to increase team performance and engagement in a virtual environment.
