The recent wave of #MeToo-inspired legislation in New York, California and beyond—as well as pressures from boards of directors, shareholders and employees—are compelling organizations to reimagine their harassment-prevention efforts. During this session, the speaker will discuss new anti-harassment mandates and organizational risk factors that are prompting employers to retool their training, policies, communications and culture in 2019 and beyond. The session will also highlight evidence-based approaches—such as leveraging workplace norms and bystander intervention techniques—that enable organizations to go beyond legal compliance to transform workplace behavior.
