The Latinx population of the U.S. will substantially grow in the coming decades. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that people who identify as Hispanic or Latinx represented 17.4% of the population in 2014 and that the number will increase to 28.6% by 2060. According to a previously released SHRM publication, the U.S. Labor Bureau predicts that 1 in every 2 workers who enter the workforce in 2025 will idenitfy as Hispanic or Latinx.
