Workplace Application:
Attendees will explore the new workplace driven by technology and best practices for staying legally compliant while embracing change.

The “future workplace” is here, and AI is among the many tools employers now use to help manage their workforce—from hiring algorithms to tools used to manage remote workforces. These tools will become even more prevalent in coming years, leading to a future of work with an ever-increasing combination of human and automated functions. Using AI in the workplace, however, presents the possibility of generating outcomes with legally impermissible disparate impacts. In this session, our speakers will discuss the law in this rapidly expanding area and how to identify and manage those risks.

Learning Objectives:

  • Hear how AI is increasingly playing a role in today’s workplace.
  • Discuss algorithmic bias and other legal implications that may arise when using AI in the workplace.
  •  Learn best practices that allow organizations to effectively utilize AI in the workplace while mitigating legal and practical risks.
