Sessions
This course provides an overview of various facets of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), including employees’ right to engage protected concerted activity — and how the National Labor Relations Board defines that term. We will also explore hot topics in labor law, such as employees’ use of social media at work and in relation to work, employer policies and practices that may unwittingly implicate the NLRA, how to determine whether a first-level supervisor qualifies as a “supervisor” under the NLRA, and why that’s important. Finally, the course will highlight key recent Board decisions and analyze the impact of those decisions going forward.
