This workshop will show you how to use your self-awareness, understanding of the nature and types of resistance and to practice skills working with resistance in organization change.

When it comes to 'change', we often misinterpret 'resistance' as opposition which is one of the reasons why most of the organization culture change work do not proceed as smoothly as planned. Using the Gestalt framework, we see resistance is between forces for change and forces for sameness. The stronger the need for change will elicit the stronger need to maintain the status quo. Often, real change happens when the system is finally motivated to find its way out of this endless struggle.  To be a successful change agent, you need to know how to discover and draw your organizaiton’s attention to this force-and-counterforce phenomenon, finesse between the competing forces and help find positive resolutions.
