Cornelia C. Springer has 20 plus years of experience in the credentialing industry. Over the past year Ms. Springer has been engaged as a contractor with SHRM to aid in the development of the new SHRM certification program. Her many years of certification experience has provided foundational knowledge in the development of program policies, certification and recertification criteria as well as aided in defining the customer relations management database.

Prior to joining Real Time Process Solutions in 2011 as a certification consultant, Ms. Springer held several leadership roles with the HR Certification Institute including Executive Director and Operations Director from 1990 to 2010. During her tenure with the HR Certification Institute she had operational oversight for budget development, product development, and the administration of the certification, recertification and pre-approval programs. While with the HR Certification Institute she was instrumental in moving from paper and pencil testing to computerized testing, added two new credentials to the portfolio of products. She also led the organization in becoming accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Ms. Springer has a BS degree in Management from Clemson University.

In his role, Seth was responsible for developing, advancing and innovating Human Resources programs that increased employee engagement and improved labor compliance.  Seth was also responsible for leading multi-stakeholder partnerships with international labor organization's that protect and advance workers' rights worldwide. 

During his career, Seth has held various Human Resources roles at Pfizer, Merck and Altria Group in Employee Relations, Compensation, Talent Acquisition and as a Business Partner.  He has BA in Sociology from the University of North Dakota and a Masters of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Martin Stier is the Vice-President, Human Resources at HP Brazil since May, 2013. He has over 15 years of multinational HR experience, based in Argentina, the US and most recently in Brazil with solid expertise over the Latin America region.

He currently has responsibility over the strategic HR agenda at HP Brazil, and provides country HR business partnership to all business units. He leads a team of over 50 HR Professionals to provide support to over 7,000 employee and he is a member of HP’s Americas HR Leadership team and Brazil Country Leadership Team.

In 2009, he joined HP as HR Director for Multi-Country Area, responsible of all subsidiaries present in Spanish South America. In 2010, he added responsibility over Puerto Rico and Caribe and in 2012 was covering all Caribe, Central and South America operations with over 14,000 employees.

Prior to HP, he worked for over 5 years at DHL Deutsche Post where he led one of the largest mergers in the logistics industry, combining DHL, Danzas and Exel into Deutsche Post Group, where he was also the HR Director for Latin America. Also, he worked at The Clorox Company from 1999 till 2003, performing several local and regional HR roles in compensation, business partner, learning and development across Latin America. He started his HR career in consulting in 1996.

Martin Stier earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires and a postgraduate degree in Human Resources from Universidad de San Andres. He currently lives in Sao Paulo with his wife and two children.

Martin Stier is the President of the People Management Council at the American Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo and is a board member of the United Way chapter in Brazil.

He is passionate about multi-cultural teamwork, change management, M&As, diversity and inclusion and talent management.

Michelle DiTondo is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for MGM Resorts International where she is currently leading initiatives in employee engagement, internal branding, and talent management for the companies 62,000 employees.  MGM Resorts is a global leader in hospitality and gaming, operating a portfolio of brands including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and the Mirage.

Prior to assuming this role, Michelle was the Vice President of Human Resources for Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Vice President of Human Resources for New York-New York Hotel & Casino, overseeing all human resources functions at each property.  She joined the Company in 2006 from Harrah’s/Caesars Entertainment, where she held the position of Vice President of Human Resources for Flamingo and Harrah’s Las Vegas.

Michelle’s background includes more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience. 

For five years prior to entering the gaming industry, Michelle was a Partner in the
Leadership Research Institute (LRI), a multinational consulting firm.  With LRI, she worked internationally and provided organization effectiveness consulting for a number of Fortune 100 Companies.  Michelle was the first female and minority to be elected a Partner in LRI.

Michelle held HR leadership roles within the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, American Express, and First Security Corporation.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Arizona State University and her Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University.

Richard J. Mrizek is a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Chicago District Office. With the Commission, Richard has litigated discrimination cases concerning race, national origin, sex, religion, disability, and retaliation. Richard has worked on significant class litigation, successfully obtaining an $11 million settlement for racial harassment and discrimination claims in EEOC v. Yellow Freight, a $2.75 million settlement for racial harassment and retaliation claims in EEOC. WRS, and a $10 million settlement of racial harassment and discrimination claims in EEOC v. Roadway Express. Richard successfully tried EEOC’s contempt action in EEOC v. Supervalu which resulted in the award of backpay, fees, and an extension of the consent decree. He was lead trial counsel in EEOC v. Custom Companies, in which the agency won a $2.3 million jury verdict for three women and successfully placed the defendant under a four-year injunction. In 2007, Richard received the Chair’s Excellence in Leadership Award for his work in the Custom case. Richard was an ABA Government Labor Employment Fellow from 2004-2006.

Prior to joining the EEOC, Richard worked in the Labor and Employment group of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in Washington, D.C. Richard received a B.A. from Northwestern University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
