Susan R. Meisinger, SPHR, JD, is a columnist for HRExecutive Online, consultant and speaker on HR leadership issues. She retired as President and CEO of SHRM, where she had worked for more than 20 years. Meisinger is a Fellow and board member of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), an organization that recognizes individuals and institutions for outstanding professional achievement and contributions to the HR field and serves as a public member of the board of directors of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She also serves on the advisory boards of the Kronos Workforce Institute and the Association of Executive Search Consultants.

Mark Matson, SPHR, is a seasoned HR generalist with over 25 years of experience. He is currently Vice President of HR at EWI, a highly specialized materials engineering consulting firm based in Columbus, Ohio. Shaun Haley has been representing private- and public-sector employers in Nevada for a decade, with a primary focus on traditional labor and wage and hour matters.
