Jeremy Eskenazi, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CMC is Managing Principal of Riviera Advisors, Inc., a global Human Resources management consulting and training firm that helps organizations improve, enhance and optimize their internal talent acquisition and recruiting capabilities.

Prior to founding Riviera Advisors in 2001, Jeremy spent almost 20 years leading talent acquisition and recruiting teams at Universal Studios, Amazon.com, and Idealab. A regular SHRM speaker and a member of the SHRM Talent Acquisition Special Expertise Panel, Jeremy is also proud professional member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the Institute of Management Consultants-USA.

As the Director of Lockton’s International Benefits practice, Pam is responsible for managing a team of consultants who work closely with clients to develop, implement, and support international employee benefit strategies – local, global and cross-border. She and her team provide liaison and coordinating services with Lockton International offices and affiliates, to effectively provide employee benefits brokerage and consulting services on a global basis for our multinational clients. Pam’s background includes 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. Immediately prior to joining Lockton in 2006, Pam spent several years with Aetna Global Benefits (AGB) as Midwest Regional Sales Director. Pam is certified as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), and has also been certified in Global Benefits Management from IFEBP and from the IBIS Academy. Pam is a frequest speaker/presenter on the topic of cross-border employee benefit strategies, and has been quoted in several publications, including Best’s Review, Benefits & Compensation International, Kansas City Business Journal, and Human Resource Executive.

Matthew Effland is the Vice President – Employment Counsel for KAR Auction Services, Inc.  KAR is a provider of vehicle auction services in North America, facilitating the used vehicle marketplace by providing auction services for sellers of used, or whole car, vehicles and salvage vehicles through its auction locations and multiple internet venues. The Company has a network of 65 whole car auction locations and 164 salvage auction locations, as well as offering a variety of online and financing services.  In his role, Matt provides guidance and support to KAR’s Human Resources department, drawing on his 14 years of management-side private practice.  Matt is licensed in both California and Indiana, and is the author of the recently-published SHRM Book ”The Perils and Pitfalls of California Employment Law: A Guide for HR Professionals.”

Michelle Donovan, Ph.D., is a member of Google's Talent Team where she is responsible for designing and delivering programs to help identify and develop critical talent and leaders. Prior to this role she managed a People Analytics team, which specialized in surveys, focus groups, and metrics to drive people-related decisions. Prior to her work at Google she worked in HR Research at Intel Corporation for six years where she managed their annual survey and consulted on surveys and focus groups. Before Intel she was a consultant with Terranova Consulting Group, an HR consulting firm, where she worked on HR audits, training needs analyses, job analyses and surveys. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, has served as an officer of the Bay Area Applied Psychologists and IT Survey Group, is a regular speaker and contributor to the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology annual conference and has published her work in journals, such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology.

A native of Montreal, Canada, Shannon is the Director of People Operations - Strategy, M&A and Staffing at Google. He has also served as Google's People Operations head of Global Sales and Business Development.

Shannon joined Google after several years in media and publishing, including as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York City. He has lived in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Japan, where he led business development efforts in Asia for two of Canada’s largest financial institutions. From 1993 to 1996, Shannon was the Chief of Staff and Senior Policy Advisor on Asia to the Canadian Secretary of State. He has also served as a special assistant to former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. Prior to his career in public service, Shannon was a professional hockey player with the Los Angeles Kings organization.

Shannon has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont, where he received the university’s Most Outstanding Student award. He also holds a Master of Philosophy degree in International Studies from Ireland’s Trinity College, Dublin, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
