Clayton Lord (Clay, he/him) oversees strategy, planning, program delivery, and program evaluation for the SHRM Foundation, the 501(c)3 nonprofit arm of SHRM, which focuses on widening pathways to work and helping every worker and workplace thrive by empowering HR leaders to be forces for social good. He is a social impact executive who has spent his career driving systemic change in the world of work. Clay is also a writer, painter, and quilter, as well as a travel fanatic, and holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from Georgetown University. He lives with his husband and daughter in Maryland.

Vince Caldwell, SHRM Partner Products and Programs Sr. Specialist has been with SHRM for over 25 years and serves as the primary contact for the SHRM Traveling Store Operation. He supports HR professionals with solutions and strategies that meet or exceed their needs, by recommending books, tools, and other software product solutions. He provides bookstore solutions to chapter and state conferences throughout the US. He has a passion for helping others succeed and become more than they thought they could be.  He is a graduate of “The College of New Jersey”.

Chris leads the American Heart Association’ national portfolio of health and well-being programs and initiatives, which includes the Well-being Works Better workforce well-being platform and the Health Equity in the Workforce initiative, a collaboration with Deloitte Health Equity Institute and SHRM Foundation.  Before AHA, Chris was a health policy analyst for the Vitality Group, provider of the Vitality wellness program.  Chris has published articles in Health Affairs, American Journal of Preventive Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, and Circulation. Chris holds a Master of Public Policy (with honors) from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University.

Carol is a proven executive with extensive experience in building and leading sophisticated, high-performance teams across broad geographies and various industries.  She develops and executes Human Capital strategies that enable and extend corporate strategy - driving performance, engagement, customer satisfaction, and profitability.  Carol’s career spans over 20 years as a transformative leader with tech-savvy and agility, 

Carol has been published in Manage HR Magazine, HR Tech Outlook, CMP’s “C-Suite on Talent” and Bruce Waller’s “Life in the Leadership Lane.”  She achieved her B.S. in Computer Science and her M.B.A.

She was most recently, until August 2023, VP of HR at Halff Associates, a full-service engineering/architecture firm operating in Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.  

Payton Drury is the Human Resources Director with the City of Collinsville and has been with the City for over 6 years. Payton oversees all areas of human resources, including employee retention, employee engagement, employee recognition, employment policies, recruitment, training, and benefits. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus in HR and Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Darlene Ladd, Assistant Director at Madison County Employment and Training has 8 years of experience in workforce development, assisting job seekers and businesses meeting the changing demands of the labor market. Prior to working with Madison County, she worked for over 16 years with a non-profit agency assisting individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining employment.  Providing recruitment, job placement, coaching, retention services, and case management services through partnerships with Vocational Rehabilitation and Ability One Programs.  Darlene is currently on the board of directors for a small non-profit organization that provides educational and employment training opportunities to adults with disabilities.

Before founding Three Ears Media, Katrina was a CMO, Technical Copywriter, and Managing Editor for leading companies like Monster.com, Care.com, and Randstad Worldwide. Today, they are frequently featured as an HR and recruiting expert in publications like The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and Forbes.

Kat travels the country in their RV while dividing time between North Carolina, Colorado, and the dogs behind the name Three Ears Media.
