Brian Westfall is a Principal Analyst at Capterra specializing in human resources and talent management, with a focus on helping small and midsized businesses get the most out of their HR technology. His research on the intersection of talent and technology has been featured in Bloomberg, Fortune, SHRM, TIME, and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications.

Dave is a nationally recognized trainer, facilitator and speaker. He is the founder and CEO of Oak and Reeds, which offers practical business training to clients including CBRE, PayPal, the Kellogg School of Management, and more.
Prior to starting Oak and Reeds, Dave was a Strategic Consultant at AECOM Strategy Plus, where he developed workplace strategy, change management and virtual collaboration services for government, technology and university clients.
Dave is also an accomplished improvisor. Along with his teammates, he won the National Collegiate Improv Tournament, has headlined shows and festivals across the country, and coached hundreds of people in the art of improvised comedy.
Dave graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Communications and currently resides in Castro Valley, CA with his wife and two cats.

 

Dr. DeLancey Johnson is a transformational leader in progressive HR administration and has a proven track record for providing operational and strategic leadership in all facets of talent management. Currently, Dr. Johnson is the Senior Vice President, Associate Chief Talent Officer for Parkland Health.

Dr. Johnson has over 20 years of HR expertise across international and domestic markets, public and private sectors, and non-profit and for-profit organizations, including multiple health systems in Texas and Florida. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, sHRBP, SWP, LDSS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).  He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Northcentral University in Scottsdale, Arizona, a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Edward Waters University where he pledged Phi Beta Sigma.

Dr. Johnson also invests his time serving on the Dallas Regional Chamber Talent Attraction Council, Article of the Year Committee Member for ACHE, and Vice President of the Texas Diversity Council Advisory Board.

Erica Edwards-O'Neal is a strategic diversity, equity and social responsibility professional and lawyer. Bringing more than 25 years’ experience, she is a business executive that has provided guidance, counsel, and training across the country on topics including cultural competence, implicit bias, microaggressions, inclusive leadership, inclusive human resource practices and EEO compliance. Additionally, she is an experienced EEO officer skilled in conducting investigations, resolution of employee relations matters, HR laws, and industry best practices.

In late 2020, Erica joined the New York Road Runners (NYRR) as the Senior Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She spearheads the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy across all business units and levels of the organization. Under her leadership, she will direct NYRR’s cultural shift to a more inclusive environment that will extend to the community that it serves. As part of this role, she is leading the policies and practices to embed equity and belonging principles in the organizational DNA.

Previously, she held the position of Senior Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Social Responsibility for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. In that role, she oversaw the development of policies and programs to attract, retain, and foster a diverse and inclusive workforce. Erica has a long-standing commitment to diversity and public service. Her other professional experiences of diversity leadership include serving as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Senior Career Counselor at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, the Director of Legislative Advocacy Coalition at the Health & Welfare Council, and the Community Development Liaison at Americorp VISTA.

Erica received her B.A in Government from the College of William and Mary and her J.D. from Touro Law College.

She is a member of the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association, National Association of Law Placement Professionals, The Metropolitan Black Bar Association, The National Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.

Erica is also the founder of EEO Consults, a firm that helps to support organizations seeking to operationalize equity principles.

Brad Cooper, Ph.D., is CEO of Catalyst Coaching 360, founded in 2007 to provide best-in-class, board-certified health, wellness & performance coaching for organizations nationwide. He is also host of the popular Catalyst 360 podcast, is an elite Masters runner, 11-time Ironman (4X at Hawaii World Championship) & was featured in the film Godspeed: The Race Across America after winning the 2-person event. He’s spent his life as a human performance junkie, earning 4 college degrees, including a PhD, to help individuals enhance their personal and professional lives. He’s crazy about his bride of 31 years and loves being Dad to 3 (married) adult “kids.” 

Dr. Robinson is a published author, and a national, regional, and local speaker; with over 20 years’ experience in the area of Organizational Development. He is a native of Louisville, KY and received his doctorate and masters from the University of Louisville and his bachelors from Western Kentucky University.  He and his son Donovan have resided in Union, Ky since 2015. He is the author of Discipline Your Motivation: Construct Confidence, Defeat Deterrents, and Believe in Yourself! 

Sandy Michelet is a dynamic leader with a focus on developing a high-performing culture. She is the Director of People Strategy for Sparkhound, a digital transformation company, and is an active speaker in the HR community. Sandy holds several professional certifications and a master's degree in workforce development. She is a powerful voice for the childless community, having launched TheChildlessLife.com dedicated to supporting women unable to have children. She has been recognized as a World Childless Week Champion. Sandy is also a lead singer with Trilogy, a South Louisiana horn band.

Martin is a certified corporate wellness specialist and psychological H&S advisor and advocate for healthy work environments and reducing stress in the workplace.  With over a decade of experience leading health and safety courses, Martin’s expertise navigating OH&S requirements has been further deepened as a certified joint H&S committee member. 

Martin co-founded Navigation Consulting & Training, to support and promote healthy work environments as a business imperative for organizational success through strategic HR consulting, training and development, and workplace harassment investigations.  Away from work Martin enjoys cycling, sailing and photography.
