Shellane Ogoshi was recently inducted to the Hofstra University, athletics Hall of Fame and
had her jersey retired. Top tier performance, commitment, and dedication were necessary for her
success. Today she uses these same characteristics while serving individuals, business owners
and their loved ones to attain confidence and clarity in their financial situation through
individualized holistic planning. She proactively prepares clients for life events, both seen and
unforeseen which benefits them and those they care about.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Shellane began her career at UBS Financial Services in
New York. She was responsible for portfolio management and financial planning for ultra-high-net
worth clients. Upon transferring to the UBS Honolulu office, she mastered her customization of
financial plans for C-Suite executives, business owners, established professionals, along with
governmental & military personnel.
In furthering her industry experience, Shellane attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL
PLANNER™, Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), Certified Divorce Financial
Analyst (CDFA®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) professional designations, and
holds her Life, Accident and Health Insurance license along with Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Shellane graduated with honors from Hofstra University earning her Bachelor of Business
Administration in International Business with a minor in Finance. She obtained her MBA with a
concentration in Finance shortly after that, while coaching Division I and Division II Women’s
Volleyball and working full-time.
Shellane enjoys all aspects of outdoor life, spending time with her family as well as playing
and coaching volleyball. She currently serves on the Young Executives Board for Special
Olympics Hawaii, volunteers her time at local universities educating their students on making
smart financial decisions and training youth athletes looking to pursue higher education.

Buck Gee is the co-founder of the Advanced Leadership Program for Asian American Executives at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Since 2010, the executive education program has provided leadership training to over 500 Asian American executives from over 100 companies including Microsoft, Google, HSBC, Chevron, and IBM. He has co-authored many Ascend Foundation research papers on the topic of the Asian glass ceiling, analyzing EEOC workforce data that show that Asians are the most likely to be hired into the white-collar workforce, but least likely to reach executive positions. He has written opinion pieces on Asian American issues published in the Harvard Business Review, the New York Times, USA Today, the San Jose Mercury-News, KQED public radio, and salon.com. He has also been featured on podcasts posted by CNBC, One-in-a-Billion, Russell Reynolds Associates, Committee-of-100, Studio Sacramento, Asian Women of Power, and SHRM.
Mr. Gee retired in 2008 from Cisco Systems, where he was Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center Business Unit. He joined Cisco with its 2004 acquisition of Andiamo Systems where Mr. Gee was President and CEO.
He is the Northern California regional chair for the Committee-of-100 and serves on the board of directors. He is also a board member for the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation, Asia Society/Northern California, and the San Francisco Chinatown Media and Arts Collective. He holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
