Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, is President and Chief Executive Officer of SHRM. With nearly 340,000 members in 180 countries, SHRM impacts the lives of more than 362 million workers and their families globally.

As a global leader on the future of employment, culture and leadership, Mr. Taylor is a sought-after voice on all matters affecting work, workers and the workplace. Recognized as one of the “300 Most Influential Executives in Corporate America” for 2024 by Savoy Magazine and one of the “Most Influential People Shaping Public Policy” in our nation’s capital by Washingtonian Magazine, Mr. Taylor is frequently asked to testify before Congress on critical workforce issues and authors the weekly USA Today column, "Ask HR."

Mr. Taylor's career spans more than 20 years as a lawyer, human resources executive and CEO in both the not-for-profit and for-profit spaces. He has held senior and chief executive roles at IAC/InteractiveCorp, Viacom's Paramount Pictures, Blockbuster Entertainment Group, the McGuireWoods law firm and Compass Group USA. Most recently, Mr. Taylor was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

He is the author of the national bestseller, RESET: A Leader’s Guide to Work in an Age of Upheaval, which immediately upon its release in September 2021, was in the top three of The Wall Street Journal’s list of best-selling hardcover business books.

Mr. Taylor is a member of the United Way Worldwide Board of Trustees and serves on the corporate boards of XPO Logistics (NYSE: XPO), Flores & Associates, and Guild Education. He previously served on the White House American Workforce Policy Advisory Board and as chairman of the President's Advisory Board on Historically Black Colleges and Universities during the Trump Administration.

The Women Business Collaborative (WBC) named Mr. Taylor as one of its 2023 Trailblazers in Gender Equity and Diversity for his work to achieve equal position, pay and power for all women in business. In 2020, he received the Distinguished Executive of the Year Award from the Academy of Management, and he was named 2021 ALA Professional Society CEO of the Year by CEO Update.

He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources and is licensed to practice law in Florida, Illinois and Washington, D.C.

Michael D'Ambrose is the chief human resources officer and executive vice president of Human Resources for The Boeing Company. In this role, he is responsible for the company's leadership and learning, talent planning, employee and labor relations, total rewards, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. He is also a member of the company's executive council.

D'Ambrose has been a leader in human resources for over three decades, focused on leveraging innovative human strategies to influence business strategy, empower leaders, embrace change and deliver business results. He is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and brings deep expertise in talent management, succession, compensation, M&A, labor/union negotiations, and creating high performing teams that drive extraordinary results.

Prior to joining Boeing in 2020, D'Ambrose spent almost 14 years as the senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), where he oversaw global human resources, helping to lead a corporate culture of innovation, inclusion and integrity. Previously, he served in a series of executive-level business and HR positions, including chief human resources officer at Citigroup, First Data and Toys 'R' Us Inc., along with senior HR roles at Travelers Mortgage Services and Ingersoll-Rand Corporation. He also served as the CEO of Shadow Broadcasting Services and as chief operating officer for Westwood One, Inc.

In addition, D'Ambrose has extensive corporate board experience, serving on the board of directors for Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) as chair of the Resource Development Committee. He is chairman of the board of directors for The Cornell Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies (CAHRS), and serves on several other high-profile boards, including the National Academy of Human Resources, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Center for Executive Succession at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

In 2016, D'Ambrose earned HR's highest honor as a fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, a distinction that—when he was inducted—had only been granted to 163 individuals since 1992. He also helped to create Together We Grow, an association of approximately 50 industrial, educational, NGO and legislative partners focused on driving diversity and inclusion in the agriculture industry.

D'Ambrose holds a bachelor's degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

Bruce Broussard, President and CEO, joined Humana in 2011. Under his leadership, Humana has created an integrated care delivery model centered on improving health outcomes, driving lower costs, enhancing quality, and providing a simple and personalized member experience. With its holistic, human care approach, Humana is dedicated to improving the health of the communities it serves by making it easier for people to achieve their best health.

Bruce brings to Humana a wide range of executive leadership experience in publicly traded and private organizations within a variety of healthcare sectors, including oncology, pharmaceuticals, assisted living/senior housing, home care, physician practice management, surgical centers and dental networks.

Prior to joining Humana, Bruce was Chief Executive Officer of McKesson Specialty/US Oncology, Inc. US Oncology was purchased by McKesson in December 2010. At US Oncology, Bruce served in a number of senior executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

Bruce plays a leadership role in key business advocacy organizations such as the Business Roundtable, the Business Council, and the American Heart Association CEO Roundtable. He is a member of the Board of Directors of HP Inc., and member and chair of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). Additionally, Bruce serves on the Board of the Trust for the National Mall, a nonprofit philanthropic partner of the National Park Service dedicated to restoring and preserving the National Mall.

Tim Huval is Humana’s Chief Administrative Officer, where his leadership responsibilities have wide-ranging areas of oversight, including: all aspects of Human Resources, Corporate Marketing and Communications, Workplace Solutions, Inclusion and Diversity, and Safety and Security. Tim reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer Bruce Broussard and is a member of the Management Team, which sets the organization’s strategic direction.

Prior to joining Humana, Tim spent 10 years at Bank of America in multiple senior-level roles, including Human Resources executive and Chief Information Officer for Global Wealth & Investment Management, as well as Human Resources executive for both Global Treasury Services and Technology & Global Operations. Additionally, he led several large operations organizations, including Global Card Services, where he was responsible for all card operations and customer service, serving more than 40 million customers. Tim also held numerous leadership roles in operations and Human Resources at Gateway Inc.

While at Bank of America, Tim served as chair of the Consumer Banking, Business Banking and Enterprise Client Coverage Diversity & Inclusion Business Council, responsible for promoting an inclusive work environment. He also served as the executive sponsor of the Military Support & Assistance Group which supports efforts to attract, integrate, retain and develop military veterans.

Tim is on Republic Bancorp’s Board of Directors and serves as a member of the Audit Committee. He also serves on the Advisory Board for innovative start-up MyCareGorithm, LLC, which is aimed at improving communication between doctors and patients. He previously served on the board of directors of Seacoast Banking Corporation and has also contributed to various non-profit boards, including: Family and Children’s Place in Louisville, Delaware United Way, Delaware Children’s Museum, United Way of the Virginia Peninsula, Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, Hampton Roads Technology Council, Peninsula Alliance for Economic Development, Utah Information Technology Association, and Youth Homes, Charlotte, N.C.

Tim earned a master’s degree in public administration from Brigham Young University, a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Weber State and an associate degree in business management from Salt Lake Community College. He was also awarded an honorary doctorate in Humane Letters from Salt Lake Community College.

Wadsworth runs the news division of Gannett Media, overseeing more than 5,000 journalists across 260 local news organizations and the flagship USA TODAY. She has been with Gannett for nearly 25 years, beginning as a reporter at the Rockford (III.) Register Star. In 2015, she was named Gannett’s first Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. She helped to architect the company’s digital subscription strategy and created its Innovation Lab to foster intrapreneurship and human-centered design across the organization. In 2016, then- US Secretary of commerce Penny Pritzker appointed Wadsworth to a two-year term on the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She currently serves on the board of directors of the News Media Alliance and the International News Media Association.
