2015 Diversity & Inclusion Conference & Exposition
This session will focus on implementing inclusion practices that allow all employees to feel valued and respected.

The numbers are in and the secret is out. America is becoming far more diverse. Yet we still find it difficult to discuss race in America and the disparities between Whites and ethnic minorities. According to recent data, Whites are on track to lose their majority status by 2042. In fact, with four states plus the District of Columbia already majority minority, some population experts predict America is already a majority multicultural country. And another milestone takes place in just under five years, when the country’s second biggest state, Texas, flips majority minority. While many would point to only immigration as a contributing factor, it is important to also look within the data to see the increase in interracial marriages and to understand what this says about Diversity & Inclusion across the country. This session will help you learn about:

  • The changing face of America and how this will affect our workforce and political climate.
  • How to interpret the data and proactively begin discussing racial differences openly, honestly and respectfully.
  • Keys to introducing inclusive concepts that provide a safe space for all leaders, managers and employees.
