HR must be willing to redefine our value to a diverse set of internal customers and become experts in helping managers and employees adapt to a constantly changing environment. Join David Fink, Vice President of HR for Airbus in North America, in an interactive exchange where he will share his experience inside the giant plane maker's culture where technologies, talents, and constant change collide. From the aerospace roots in traditional manufacturing of airplanes and helicopters ‎to a rapid series of start-ups with disruption and millennial mindsets, you will learn about the journey of adaptation the HR function is on to “Make a Difference” through four themes of:  "Choosing your Attitude", "Making it Meaningful", "Doing the Right Thing" and "Growing Yourself" in order to take the lead on change.

Dave joined the Company in February 2008 as Vice President, Human Resources for what was the Corporation’s defense arm in the United States.  In March 2014, following the global rebranding of the corporation, he was appointed as Vice President, Regional Head of Human Resources where he is responsible for the HR function across Airbus Group's diverse set of businesses in North America – covering Airbus Americas, Airbus Helicopters, and Airbus Defence & Space. 
 
Although his career start was in manufacturing and operations, Dave has subsequently spent more than 20 years in Human Resources in a variety of industries. Prior to joining the Company, he held senior Human Resources positions in Rio Tinto Alcan, Pratt & Whitney, and Olin after starting his career in private companies. 
 
Originally from Osage, Iowa, Dave received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Buena Vista University and is a certified professional in human resources.  
 
Dave and his wife, Astrid, reside in Ashburn, Virginia where they enjoy time with their children, spending time in nature, and making a difference in their family and friends lives.
