Being an innovator in the workplace starts with whether you have innovators coming in the door. To hire the best, you need to hire for both organizational fit and diversity. This session will teach you how to define your organization’s culture and hire with it in mind, while at the same time ensuring that diverse hires are made. You will learn how to:

  • Define your organization’s culture to hire for fit.
  • Design and measure your hiring process against the standard you’ve created by defining culture.
  • Look at the research to understand what selection methods predict work performance and employ them in your hiring process.
  • Find the best employees.
  • Train people on how to interview and put together diverse hiring teams to hire for fit and diversity.
  • Use data to know if you are meeting your objectives.

She graduated from The University of Alabama, with a BS in Business Management and holds Master’s degree Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.
