Home > Volunteer Development - Five Components of Extraordinary Teams

2017 Volunteer Leaders Summit
PowerPoints/Handouts Available
Machines are evaluated based on the output of the entire unit, not the individual parts. Extraordinary teams, like great machines, require certain components that hold their pieces together. Elite organizations invest in the “stuff” that transforms a collection of talented individuals into extraordinary, machine-like teams.

Learning Objectives:
1. Review the need for a COMPETITIVE attitude to drive team members to deliver superior results that are aligned with the strategic objectives of the team.
2. Discuss how and why individuals on great teams make sacrifices to achieve the COMMON strategic objectives of the organization.
3. Learn the importance of coming together during times of adversity to develop CHEMISTRY, and how a positive environment significantly impacts and organization’s results.

This course is packed with insights, examples, and humor that will keep attendees engaged, energized, eager to take their respective teams to a higher level.
