Home > #701: Being Heard in a Noisy World: Speaking as an Effective Business Partner

2018 Annual Conference & Exposition
You will learn key strategies to making your voice heard in the midst of the rest of the voices (opinions or ideas) at the executive table.

The art of communication is critical to your effectiveness as an HR business partner. As HR professionals, we must stand ready to present our ideas in articulate and meaningful fashions. This can range from creating content to delivering the message, to all the powerful steps in between. In this workshop, we will discuss key strategies to making your voice heard. It is designed to equip you with improved speaking strategies. From creation to articulation, the art of public speaking will be presented in usable manners. In this sense, public speaking entails 1-on-1 encounters as well as large presentations, so you are better equipped to share ideas and create positive change. This workshop will help you:

  • Identify the four-part process of effective communication.
  • Learn how to create and deliver a presentation.
  • Discover ideas to improve your delivery.
  • Learn how to grab the attention of any audience.
