Home > Creating an Executable D&I Strategic Plan Supported by Dynamic Metrics

2018 Diversity & Inclusion Conference & Exposition
Learn the basic elements to create an executable plan, while those with a strategy will learn enhanced techniques.
PowerPoints/Handouts Available

Although traditionally managed separately, compliance and D&I strategy may be utilized in concert to maximize business performance. For example, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recently has focused on an employer’s proactive compliance efforts. Accordingly, an employer’s D&I strategic efforts could benefit a contractor during an OFCCP compliance review. Similarly, personnel data collected for compliance purposes could be expanded into dynamic D&I metrics—thereby driving business performance. This session will explore how this opportunity might be operationalized. This session will challenge you to:

  • Contemplate whether your compliance challenges would benefit from connecting with your internal D&I strategy.
  • Consider how you could develop or enhance your D&I strategy by utilizing existing compliance efforts.
  • Explore whether the existing compliance data and infrastructure can be managed to drive both compliance efforts and D&I strategic success.
