Home > Networking Lunch & General Sessions - SHRM Update with Mike Aitken and Race Conversations and the Urgency of Now with James Wright

Time for lunch and an opportunity to network with your local HR community.

Then, hear what's new with SHRM and the future of work--including how it impacts you and your organization with Mike Aitken.

Also Race Conversations and the Urgency of Now with James Wright.

The numbers are in and the secret is out. America is becoming far more diverse. Yet we still struggle to discuss the disparities that still exist between whites and People of Color. In this keynote, James Wright will explain this phenomenon and emphasize the need for organizations to proactively work to include the interests of more racially diverse populations as they are and will continue to be key players in the country's demographic and economic future. We will discuss how to interpret the data and how to proactively begin discussing racial differences openly, honestly and respectfully through inclusive concepts that provide a safe space for all leaders, managers and employees.
