2021 Talent Conference & Expo
Attendees will learn how to engineer a powerful pre-boarding process that reduces uncertainty and builds connection for the new hire.
PowerPoints/Handouts Available

Most organizations don't have a pre-boarding process that reduces uncertainty, increases excitement, or builds connection for their new employees. But when HR leaders streamline processes and create powerful moments in the days leading up to Day 1, they improve efficiency and build trust and psychological safety for the new hire. This session will equip attendees with strategies and resources for creating a pre-boarding process that paves the way for increased employee engagement and retention.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand current research about new-employee perceptions and expectations throughout the pre-boarding process.
  • Evaluate your own pre-boarding process in light of best practices.
  • Create a more streamlined and impactful pre-boarding experience for HR leaders, managers and new hires.
