Working anywhere, in any capacity (remote, hybrid or in-person) and at any time is the new "normal." This lively session explores the wage and hour pitfalls inherent in the virtual and hybrid workforces, such as how to mitigate risk associated with tracking time and work for exempt and non-exempt employees, remote access to workplace technology and how, whether and when to compensate for work travel, home office expenses, time spent checking emails and texts and even sleep. This program will also cover the question of which law (local, state or federal) applies to your remote workers.
Learning Objectives:
In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
