SHRM 2011 Annual Conference
The primary target for employee benefits planning education is the rank and file employee base, conducted on-site during their normal working hours, which in many instances includes the non-traditional staffing hours of shift work.
 

Theres been a big shift away from one size fits all education through standard plan communication towards custom programs that deliver personalized guidance on an individual level. Today, companies are implementing highly customized, strategic programs that are designed around their specific needs, benefits, demographics, culture and existing communication channels, and are providing benefits planning education giving employees guidance around how to best manage their benefits in order to reach their personal and financial goals. Companies are now making financial education a key part of their benefits package.
