Home > Preconference Workshop : Session #705: An Employer's Guide to Health Care Reform

SHRM 2011 Annual Conference
My presentation will allow HR professionals to learn and understand the legal requirements of health care reform and how those requirements will change their responsibilities relative to their group health plans.

Health care reform enacted in 2010 represents the most sweeping change to employer-provided group health coverage since ERISA. Attend this session and hear Jennifer A. Kraft & David M. Weiner, partners in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, provide an update on the law's requirements based on the regulations and other guidance that's been issued since Congress enacted the legislation. Adam's presentation will focus on those provisions that affect HR professionals.

* Advanced registration and additional program fees are required for the pre-conference workshops.
