Home > Marketing Your Benefits: Developing a More Effective Strategy to Educate and Engage Employees About Benefits Options

SHRM 2013 Annual Conference
Workplace Application: You need to better understand how to market your benefits offerings with year-round communication and education, arming your employees with the tools needed to make the best benefits decisions.
PowerPoints/Handouts Available

Often discouraged by a lack of employee participation, engagement and knowledge about benefits, HR leaders are increasingly looking for ways to engage their workforce and empower them to make smart benefits decisions. To be effective in benefits communication, you need to take into account how you talk about your benefits program, as well as how it is packaged, priced and sold--all intrinsically marketing-focused objectives. By taking advantage of marketing strategies, you will be better prepared to engage employees and guide them through the decision-making process, leading to greater job satisfaction and more productive workers.
