PowerPoints/Handouts Available

Research has shown that companies providing wellness programs receive an average ROI of $3.48 to 1 due to reduced health care costs and $5.82 to 1 due to reduced absenteeism. As a result, many organizations are either providing wellness programs arleady or are planning to. This session will describe a best practice approach you can use to implement successful wellness programs. We will discuss how comprehensive the program should be, maximizing employee participation, involving dependents, teaching wise consumerism, addressing low and high risk employees, online versus offline interventions, psychosocial issues, legal implications, and evaluation.
