Today's rapidly changing demographics and increasing emphasis on a global world continue to move workplace diversity to the forefront of effective organizational strategies. As the business case for diversity continues to evolve, the focus is on how organizations can best utilize 'difference' for competitive advantage. To support diversity in your company, you must lead the culture change by defining diversity, making the business case for it and developing a diversity vision to set the stage for effective diversity management and initiatives. You will learn how your organization’s diversity program can help you attract and retain the best talent as well as results in reduced costs associated with turnover, absenteeism and low productivity.

Patricia M. Clendening, GPHR, SPHR has over 25 years experience in Human Resources management with major corporations including AlliedSignal, Honeywell, Crothall American, Wolf D. Barth, and Wawa, Inc. She has held a variety of Coaching, Change Management, Strategic Planning, Training and Development, and Employee Relations roles within these organizations. In 2002 Tricia launched HR Strategies, LLC and is now considered a leading HR consulting firm in the region. Tricia was the recipient of Associated Builders and Contractors 2010 Associate Supplier of the Year, Delaware Valley Human Resources Consultant of the Year in 2012 and the Ron Shane HR Lifetime Achievement in 2012. She also participated, with eleven other business leaders, in Delaware’s Roundtable with Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney to discuss the pressing issues that businesses in the region were facing.
