Home > Gender and Generations at Work and at Home

FWI & SHRM 2013 Workflex Conference
PowerPoints/Handouts Available

Given the myths that abound regarding supposedly "traditional work and family arrangements," it is important to have reliable and accurate information to create programs to get the best from employees, male and female, across the generations. This session will separate the facts from fiction on gender and generation to help you address workplace challenges in effective ways. You will learn how the roles and values of men and women, at work and at home, have been changing as well as how generations differ in their attitudes and behaviors about work and personal/family life. Coontz will show you ways to create effective programs to address the needs and talents of men and women of different ages.
