Seizing the Culturedge of the Multicultural New Mainstream: Why Traditional Numbers No Longer Tell The Whole Inclusion Story-- And What to Do About It.

As Hispanics and other minorities become increasingly influential and culturally-assured, the traditional approach to HR inclusion no longer reflects the scope and depth of social and cultural change. Guy Garcia, author of The New Mainstream: How the Multicultural Consumer Is Transforming American Business, explains how CulturEdge, Aspirational Shift and other new paradigms are replacing the melting pot model of acculturation as the multicultural mindset spreads to non-Hispanic whites and the new ambicultural reality becomes increasingly prevalent. Garcia will discuss new tools and approaches to building HR strategies that go beyond numerical workforce representation and share tangible examples of how forward thinking companies are responding to the imperative to reflect new American mainstream consumer markets while aligning their efforts with the business priorities of the corporate bottom line. Take the opportunity to learn from a true D&I pioneer!
