An effective business case enables an organization to make better and more thoughtful decisions. This interactive session will help you understand how to maximize the chance of your business case being accepted and how to effectively present the case to various stakeholders to gain acceptance. At the end of this session, you will:

  • Have a clear understanding of what a business plan is, how it is structured and how it must address the needs of differing audiences
  • Understand how to translate an idea into viable options to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • How to prioritize alternative solutions according to organizational key decision criteria and needs
  • Be aware of key metrics to incorporate into an effective business case through appropriate use of analytical and forecasting tools
  • Understand how to incorporate appropriate risk criteria so contingency plans can be identified and developed
  • Gain critical appreciation of the basis of decision-making at senior levels within an organization

 Todd Brodie, PhD., SPHR, GPHR, CHRP, is an Executive Coach and Senior Human Resource Professional. He has provided strategic support and coaching to leadership teams located throughout North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. His past experience includes Human Resource and front line leadership roles in the Insurance, Financial Services, Hospitality and Gaming industries in multiple countries. Todd has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) degree in Management from California Coast University and is currently working towards the Master Certified Coaching (MCC) designation through the International Coaching Federation.
