Dianna Sporcic, SHRM-SCP is Members and Community Director for the Southeast Region, which includes the states of AL, FL, GA, Mississippi, Bahama, BDA, PR, DC, KY, NC, SC, TN, VA, WVA. She works remotely from her home in St. Petersburg, FL.

Dianna spent almost 30 years with Hyatt starting in operations and then moving into HR. Most recently she was Director of HR for Hyatt Vacation Ownership (HVO) who is known for the most luxurious vacation ownership resorts in the world. She was instrumental in the M&A when Interval Leisure Group (ILG) purchased HVO. She remained on as a highly valued and strategic member of the ILG HR team while still supporting HVO. After Marriott purchased ILG, Dianna joined ONICON Measurement Solutions. Dianna has diverse HR experience in hospitality, manufacturing and labor relations. Dianna is a member of our Tampa chapter and holds SHRM-SCP certification.

Bonnie has 26 years’ experience in human resources as a generalist, manager and director, has a BS in Business-Human Resources Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and holds current certification by SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional as well as HRCI as Senior Professional in Human Resources. The majority of her career has been as a generalist, and HR department of 1, for medium-sized organizations of varied industries in the Redding area; including 6 years as an independent HR consultant. Her experience includes all areas of human resources including recruitment and selection, staff development and training, performance management, benefits administration, compensation, payroll, employee relations, legal compliance, policy development, and risk management. She is currently Human Resources Manager for Ted Pella, Inc. in Redding, CA, a family owned and operated business that manufactures and sells microscopy supplies worldwide.

Her SHRM affiliation began in college in the SHRM Student Chapter on campus, and continued as a professional when she joined and quickly became involved in the local chapter in Redding, CA, where she spent over a decade being involved at some level.  She recently re-connected and joined the Northstate SHRM Chapter Board in 2019 as Sponsorship Coordinator, took on Professional Development duties for 2020 as well, and is currently President Elect for the Chapter.

Since March 2016, Brad Shanklin has served as Executive Director of the Dallas HR Management Association including the HRSouthwest Conference.  DallasHR, a professional association, is one of the largest chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  At DallasHR, the team focuses on providing high quality certified education and networking to more than 2,300 members. 

Prior to coming to DallasHR, Brad served six years as the Senior Director of Chapters, for Meeting Professional International (MPI Global).  His responsibilities included the Chapter Business team and the 80 international chapters and clubs.  Before joining MPI, Brad spent eight years as the President/CEO of the Plano Chamber of Commerce in Plano, TX.  During that time, he earned the Institute for Organization Management certificate in non-profit management from the US Chamber of Commerce.  Prior to the chamber, Brad had a 14-year tenure with the American Heart Association at the National Headquarters in Dallas, as the State Director in New Mexico and in the council office in Houston.  He has more than 32 years in the association and membership industry where he has continuously worked with volunteers, boards and member constituents.

Brad was elected to the Plano Independent School District Board of Trustees in 2005 and served for six years, three of those as Board Vice President.  He is a former Rotarian and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Brent Hill has served in the Idaho State Senate for nineteen years. He was the highest-ranking member of the Idaho State Senate for ten years, making him the longest-serving President Pro Tempore in Idaho’s history. He did not seek reelection in 2020.

He has accepted a position with the National Institute for Civil Discourse as Director of its Next Generation program. He works directly with various legislatures throughout the country to promote civil discourse and create a culture where engaging differences constructively leads to better public policy development.

He is a retired Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with over thirty-five years of business and financial experience. Born and raised in Idaho, he graduated valedictorian from Madison High School and earned his accounting degree from Utah State University where he has been honored as the university’s Outstanding Accounting Graduate and Alumnus of the Year. For over twenty years, he was CEO of an accounting and business consulting firm with offices in Idaho and Montana. He has also served on boards and advisory councils for various corporations, banks, charitable organizations, and universities.

Brent is a frequent contributor to newspapers and other publications and authored the book, A Matter of Principle that explores the fundamental ideals that guided America’s Founders. He is also a featured speaker at universities, seminars, and conferences.

Most importantly, Brent and his wife Julie have raised four sons who, in turn, have blessed them with twenty grandchildren.

Tim Storey is the Executive Director of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) with offices in Denver, Colorado and Washington, D.C. NCSL's mission is to serve America's state legislatures and the legislatures of the U.S. territories. NCSL is dedicated to strengthening the legislative institution, helping legislators and legislative staff make connections with each other to exchange ideas and best practices and representing the states with the federal government.

Tim has spent the past 30 years working for and studying legislatures--specializing in the areas of elections, redistricting, legislative organization and leadership. During his tenure at NCSL, he has participated in, and led, more than two dozen, in-depth studies of legislative operations. And, he has consulted with, and conducting training for parliaments around the world. Tim staffed NCSL's Redistricting and Elections Committee for twenty years authoring numerous articles and papers on the topics of redistricting and elections.

For two decades, he led NCSL's effort, StateVote, to collect and analyze state election results. He led NCSL's State Services Division prior to being hired as NCSL's third Executive Director in June of 2019. During that time, he overhauled NCSL's services to legislative leaders and professional development portfolio. Born and raised in western North Carolina, Tim attended Mars Hill College and received his MA from the University of Colorado. Tim lives in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with his amazing wife Amy, and their three pretty-darn-good kids: Caroline, Will and Erin.
