Kris Erickson currently serves as co-founder and executive consultant for Workforce Science Associates. In this role, she empowers organizations to discover the unique drivers and motivational aspects that drive performance in their workforce and use these to accelerate a high-performance culture.

Kris has over 25 years of consulting experience with Fortune 500 companies. In this capacity, Erickson worked at both the strategic and tactical levels to develop and deploy comprehensive workforce solutions.

Nicole is a Director, Benefits Compliance for the Baldwin Regulatory Compliance Collaborative.  She works with clients and colleagues to help educate them on the consequences of non-compliance, respecting regulatory issues arising under laws such as HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and COBRA.  She participates in the developing of compliance communication strategies, provides training for client management teams and clients, and assists in the marketing, sales, and customer retention processes.  Nicole manages the BRCC Employee Benefits Mergers & Acquisitions Resource Center.

Nicole has 20 years of employee benefits compliance experience. She served as the H&W Compliance Officer for a large insurance broker and has also performed consulting and account management duties.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies, holds various state Health & Life Producer licenses and has earned multiple certifications in employee benefits compliance courses via industry educators.

Dr. Laural Logan-Fain, PhD serves as the Associate Vice President of People Business Partnership for San Antonio Spurs Basketball (Spurs Sports & Entertainment). She also works with leaders as a Facilitator with the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Center for Professional Excellence in the Alvarez College of Business.

Some of Dr. Logan-Fain’s best and earliest memories as a child were spent listening to and reading bedtime stories with her mom—stories that provided her an escape and adventure, boomeranged her to bygone eras, or rocketed her into future lives. Stories and storytelling continue to be an integral part of her personal and professional life, as necessary to her as air, a way to build empathy and gain a deeper understanding of self and others.

Over the past two decades, Dr. Laural Logan-Fain has worked in both corporate and educational environments. Her role with the San Antonio Spurs has allowed her to leverage her love of teaching with her love of leadership and coaching. In 2014, she launched the San Antonio Spurs’ corporate university, which evolved into a community-serving and revenue-based program. In her current role she works alongside leaders as a strategic partner, aligning business objectives with people solutions. She is passionate about serving others in the quiet and chaotic moments of their work-lives—digging deep to understand their stories and discover what they value most.

Dr. Logan-Fain has worked in publishing and research. As a professor, she taught graduate and undergraduate education, research and school law courses at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Our Lady of the Lake University, the University of Houston-Victoria, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Dr. Logan-Fain earned her PhD in Educational Administration with a specialization in School Law from the University of Oklahoma (OU) and co-authored two books and multiple articles.

She and her husband met while she was attending graduate school at OU (Boomer Sooner!). He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and former football player (Go Pokes!). Naturally, when it comes to college football, they are a house divided -- but they are united in family and love! They are also proud parents to their son Joseph, a big-hearted teenager, and to their sassy 4-legged fur baby/rescue dog, CottonBall.

Adam Rosenthal is an employment attorney and Partner at Sheppard Mullin based in California.  Adam represents a broad spectrum of companies before federal and state courts and arbitration forums.  In addition to his single plaintiff and class action litigation practice, Adam advises clients throughout the country on compliance matters.  Adam is one of the few attorneys on the SHRM Speakers Bureau.  This is the third year in a row Adam has been invited to lecture at the SHRM Annual Conference.  Adam is also the author of Managing Employees Without Fear: How to Follow the Law, Build a Positive Work Culture, and Avoid Getting Sued.  Adam received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his law degree from UC Davis.

Jeff Bulanda currently leads the Foundations, College, and Coaching strategy for Amazon Career Choice, Amazon’s education benefit for its frontline workforce. Prior to this role, he was the global leader of AWS re/Start, a cloud computer workforce development program, and was a Senior Specialist within Amazon’s Global Talent Management organization. Before joining Amazon, Jeff was school social worker and then a social work professor; his tenure in academia included one year as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Sierra Leone.

I have been with KFC YUM! Brands for over 20 years. I spent my first 6 and a half years with YUM! Finance. In 2010 I changed course and followed my passion and joined the KFC Foundation. At that time, we were a staff of two with one program. Over the past 14 years I have been blessed to play a significant role in growing the KFC Foundation from a staff of two to a staff of seven and from one program to eight…eight program opportunities for KFC restaurant employees. The work we do as a Foundation is like no other and the impact, we make on KFC restaurant employees and their communities is tremendous. I look forward to being a part of the continuing growth of the Foundation, improving and adding to our programs and celebrating more team members... as they become their best selves!!
