  • Counseling companies on US and global employment issues involving all aspects of employment law, including, social media, reductions-in-force, immigration compliance, discrimination issues, complex hiring, disciplinary, and termination issues, and executive employment contracts. He regularly assists client with public accommodation audits under Title III of the ADA, immigration audits by ICE, OSHA investigations, glass ceiling audits and OCFFP compensation reviews, and senior-level harassment and discrimination investigations.

Larry is an experienced counselor and trial lawyer. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and represents clients in all types of labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination and employee disloyalty litigation, development of personnel policies, implementation of workforce reductions, negotiation and drafting of employment agreements and compensation packages, union avoidance and collective bargaining, and investigations and administrative proceedings. Larry has tried cases to verdict, judgment and decision in state and federal court, before administrative agencies, and in arbitration.

Larry was named a Texas “Super Lawyer” seven times in Texas Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters (2003-2005 and 2008-2011) and was recognized as a “Leading Labour Lawyer of the World” by Euromoney in 2003. Michael Eastman is an attorney and advocate with the management-side law firm Norris, Tysse, Lampley & Lakis, LLP.  Mike has more than 20 years experience in labor and employment policy and has been a leader representing the business community in numerous high-profile public policy debates as well as nuanced and detailed negotiations. Mike also serves as vice president of public policy for the Equal Employment Advisory Council and as a senior consultant with Employment Advisory Services, Inc.

Before joining NTLL, Mike served for ten years as director and later executive director of labor policy for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. At the Chamber, Mike was responsible for representing the business community in all aspects of labor and employment policy, especially those issues related to equal employment opportunity and civil rights, labor unions and collective bargaining, employment standards including wage and hour mandates, and international labor policy matters.

Prior to joining the U.S. Chamber, Mike worked on the legislative staff of Rep. James P. Moran (D-VA) and practiced employment law.

Mike received his B.A. in psychology from Colgate University and his law degree from George Mason University.

Nancy is Senior Government Affairs Policy Counsel in the Government Affairs department of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  Nancy joined SHRM in January 2006 and is responsible for advocating SHRM membership views in federal rulemaking and in response to regulatory proposals affecting the HR profession. In addition, Nancy tracks court cases that raise critical issues for the HR profession and evaluates whether SHRM should intervene as amicus to ensure the HR viewpoint is considered by the court.

Prior to joining SHRM, Nancy spent 5 years as Legislative Counsel for Senator Bob Kerrey (D-NE). Nancy also served as Director of the International Division and Policy Counsel for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
