Workplace Application:
This session will help you be better prepared to evaluate, identify, and implement appropriate and reasonable accommodations in compliance with the ADA.
Given the expanded protection of “disabilities” under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the EEOC’s aggressive strategies, and the ever-increasing requests by employees to grant accommodations, the need to be knowledgeable, creative, and flexible in the accommodation process is more critical than ever. This session provides an update on recent ADA accommodation developments, plus a little FMLA for fun, and discusses “the art” of accommodation and compliance from the real-world perspective of an employment law counselor and litigator.
