Sessions
Repeated from Tuesday at 10:45 a.m.
Being a D&I practitioner can often feel like you're working alone. Many of us often wonder, what are ways that we can increase organizational support for sustaining an inclusive workforce with limited resources? Dr. Amanda Andrade leads a team of HR professionals who support an award-winning company with recognition that includes the Top 50 Most Engaged Workplaces, Fortune Magazine's 2015 Best Place to Work for Women, and Best Workplaces for Camaraderie. You will learn how to strategically extend your reach through partnerships with existing programs, and use of influential data and employee feedback. By the end of this session, you will:
- Recognize program methods that can be conducted by a lone D&I practitioner.
- Understand the importance of not reinventing the wheel.
- Learn how to leverage pre-existing programs/departments for a fluid organizational incorporation.
- Find out how to promote diversity education and workplace inclusion through engaging low-cost programs and using community resources.
