Regardless of the size of your chapter or state council, the stakes are high when it comes to strategic planning.  You need to involve the right people, ensure your goals and objectives are clearly defined, collect the necessary data and utilize the right tools/ techniques to prepare and conduct a process that is results-driven.  

 

Join Michele Britton, SHRM’s Director of Strategic Planning, as she walks you through the steps of an effective strategic planning process, including tips to ensure:

 

• active contribution by participants

• consensus, even with a diverse group

• smooth facilitation of the process/session, including when to use an outside facilitator, and

• effective implementation and follow up.
