Workplace Application:
Attendees will learn strategies for using AI-enabled recruiting technologies in ways that enhance diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) priorities and avoid discrimination risks against people with disabilities and other protected classes.

Organizations are increasingly using artificial intelligence (AI) to screen job candidates, streamline the application process, monitor employee actions, and provide employee training. When not designed and implemented to consider diverse users, AI technologies can increase the risk of workplace discrimination, including for people with disabilities. This session will explore best practices and resources to help organizations implement policies to make AI workplace implementations more equitable.

Learning Objectives

  • Assess the new risks and modes of discrimination that AI may carry against people with disabilities and other protected classes.
  • Map the strategic opportunities that Equitable AI principles offer by making an organization a better, more inclusive place to work and gain an understanding of industry best practices that organizations can use to responsibly implement inclusive AI-enabled workplace technologies
  • Understand how to find and use recommended resources and establish ongoing supports to establish centralized policies that foster inclusion when implementing AI.
