2020 has been a year of unprecedented change and challenges with major impact to our lives and our workplaces. This session is designed to discuss these challenges and share what leaders and HR must do, and what tools and resources are available. Prior crises have provided insight into how to effectively employ different, but necessary, leadership skills during times of ambiguity.

OBJECTIVES

  • Learn the "core critical" skills necessary to navigate a changing business landscape.
  • Understand the role of communication during a crisis.
  • Identify the skills and capabilities HR professionals must have during times of organizational change.
  • Understand the impact of organizational, leadership and workforce health and wellness.

Coretha Rushing has over 30 years of corporate business and leadership experience. She has worked in various executive roles at Equifax, Inc., The Coca-Cola Company, Pepsi, IBM and Cameron Wesley LLC, her own human resource consulting firm during the course of her career. Additionally, she has provided consulting services and served on various non profit boards. She currently serves as a board member of 2U, Inc., an educational technology platform company and is a member of the Compensation and Succession Committee.
