Brain Bite Break: Healthy Cali-Inspired Snack Recipe - Granola Parfait
Brain Bite Break

Sit back and relax for this exclusive virtual Brain Bite Break featuring a cooking demo on a healthy California-inspired snack recipe of granola parfait.
If you want to follow along, you will need an oven and a refrigerator.
Starting with the granola:
- 1 bowl for dry ingredients and 1 bowl of wet ingredients
- Spoons for mixing
- Baking tray
- Parchment paper
- 4 cups of oats
- 2 cups of nuts or seeds of choice
- ~ 2 tsp total seasonings of choice (ie. cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, allspice)
- 1/2 cup of oil of choice (ie. sunflower)
- 1/2 cup liquid sweetener or granulated sugar of choice (ie. brown sugar, honey, maple syrup)
- 1-2 tsp extract of choice (ie. almond or vanilla)
Then for the next "yogurt" layer:
- Bowl with lid
- 1 cup of milk of choice (ie. dairy milk, coconut)
- 3 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 tsp flavoring of choice (ie. vanilla)
- 1 tsp sweetener of choice (ie. maple syrup)
For the final layer:
- 1 clear glass cup
- 1 spoon for layering
- 1 cup fruit of choice (ie. berries or cut into small pieces)
