S103A
Saturday 06/15/2013 01:00 PM - 05:00 PM   Add to calendar
4.00 HR Credit | Competencies: Consultation, Relationship Management
Workplace Application:
This program is about writing a performance review that has a positive impact on future employee job performance.

A well-written performance review is a summary of an employee’s contributions during the review period. It should be a summary that connects past performance with future expectations. Too often, the connection to the future is omitted or unclear. The result is a confused, frustrated employee, and a missed opportunity for you to be an effective coach. This workshop will show you how to plan, write, and present a performance review. The techniques learned will reduce the amount of time it takes to write a review and most importantly, they increase the probability that an employee will leave a review committed to performing successfully in the future. You will leave better able to:
• Plan a performance review based on future expectations for success;
• Reduce the amount of time needed to plan and write an effective review; and
• Lead a collaborative discussion about job-related examples of performance.
