Workplace Application:
This session gives you the opportunity to hear how a multi-billion dollar retailer cracked the code on employee engagement to help elevate the business, reaching their three year goals in just one.

In 2014, Kohl's created a bold new strategy, its Greatness Agenda, which became the new strategic framework for the entire company. The goal is for Kohl's “to be the most engaging retailer in America.” Reaching this goal required meeting three measures of success: increased sales, best-in-class customer engagement scores and best-in-class associate engagement scores. This meant that HR would have to move the 140,000 Kohl's associates across the country into the 90th percentile of engagement scores in just three years. The teams got to work and accomplished this three-year employee engagement goal in just one year. This session will help you:

·         Understand how to tie employee engagement goals to the overarching company strategy and
make the case that employee engagement drives company performance.

·         Establish measurable goals that can be acted upon.

·         Determine the most important areas to work on to create a ripple affect improving
           several metrics on employee engagement.

·         Build winning teams through a culture of appreciation, recognition and development.
