Part 2 of the Employee Accommodation Conundrum will address how to navigate extended leave requests and complex demands and expectations for disability-related accommodations. The ADA's requirement to provide reasonable accommodations to disabled employees can be highly burdensome but is not without its limits.  This session will provide strategic insight on how to balance your need for an efficient and productive workforce against the EEOC's increasingly aggressive demands for accommodations of disabled individuals. You will learn:

  • The latest trends in difficult and complex ADA accommodations.
  • How evolving societal and legal expectations such as work from home policies are making it more difficult and expensive to comply with the ADA.
  • How to effectively navigate the interactive process.
  • How to bid farewell to a disabled employee while safeguarding yourself against a future lawsuit.
