This session will take you from being held hostage by stress and anxiety in the workplace to empowered, by reframing the “mess of stress” and learning to embrace the “win of Zen.” With the energy of the opening performance of a Beyonce concert, you will be guided along a high-energy, fun, and self-affirming interactive discussion rooted in vulnerable personal anecdotes and data-backed statistics supporting the power of self-care and community in combatting the primary stress and anxiety inducing factors impacting women leaders in Corporate America. Over the course of this 75-minute transformative journey, participants will be equipped with strategies to build their professional self-care toolkits around three core self-care areas.
- Self-Care Core Area 1 - Exercising Self-Compassion: Using your internal dialog to calm/eliminate anxiety
- Self-Care Core Area 2 - Workplace Mindful Techniques: Utilizing a routine that combines intention setting, breath, and movement to incite confidence and stave off stress & anxiety triggers.
- Self-Care Core Area 3 - Building An Emotional Support Tribe: Learning not to go it alone
