He recently joined the board of Hope for Prisoners, a Las Vegas-based non-profit organization that facilitates reentry and reintegration services to men, women, and young adults who are exiting various segments of the judicial system.

Arte graduated from Cornell University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations.  He is an avid musician, hiker, canoeist, book enthusiast and grandfather.
