Wendy F. Hensel is Interim Dean and Professor of Law at Georgia State University College of Law.  She teaches and writes about disability discrimination in American society and its intersection with education, employment, and tort law. She has written numerous articles on the legal treatment of disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and is a frequent invited speaker around the country on related topics. Dean Hensel graduated with honors from Harvard Law School and clerked for Judge Orinda Evans of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She also practiced labor and employment law for several years with the law firm of Alston & Bird, where she litigated disability discrimination cases and counseled Fortune 500 companies on compliance with the ADA. 

In her dual capacity as a strategic process diversity consultant and an employment attorney, Cindy-Ann Thomas adeptly navigates clients through multiple diversity and inclusion challenges and opportunities.  Company executives in a broad spectrum of industries, including government, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, higher education and professional services, have looked to her for the past 18 years for diversity and inclusion services and counsel that emphasize talent development, engagement, productivity and retention. Cindy-Ann - who is a regular speaker for both regional and national SHRM events - is the program host of Littler’s Diversity & Inclusion Podcast Series.

Todd Solomon is a partner in and Chicago local practice group leader of the employee benefits practice group of McDermott Will & Emery LLP in its Chicago office.  Todd focuses his practice primarily on designing, amending, and administering pension plans, 401(k) plans, employee stock ownership plans, 403(b) plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements.  He also counsels corporations and tax-exempt entities regarding fiduciary and plan investment issues under ERISA, employee benefits issues involved in corporate transactions, executive compensation and Code Section 409A compliance and correction matters, and the implementation of benefit programs for domestic partners.  

Mercedes has served the international mobility industry for 15 years consulting on intercultural and performance needs. She also conducted field research on expatriate selection. Currently Mercedes is the Director of Business Development at Cultural Awareness International. She graduated from Princeton and completed an MBA from Tulane. Mercedes is a product of a bicultural family (1/2 Iranian; 1⁄2 Puerto Rican), and has lived and worked in Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. A leader in the diversity and inclusion field, Maria has worked with thousands, including Fortune 500 CEOs and senior leaders. She was sales and marketing manager for the Procter & Gamble; vice president of human resources for R. R. Donnelley Logistics; and executive vice president of Pope & Associates, a diversity and inclusion consulting firm. Maria served in an advisory capacity on the U.S. Senate Task Force on Hispanic Affairs.

Maria launched Inclusity in 2014 to pursue a new approach in diversity and inclusion. She facilitates in-depth culture change agent training, leadership development and executive coaching.

With increased focus on gender and LGBTQIA+ equality, James believes it is important to update these terms to signal where we are today in our journey to ensure diverse communities are truly seen, heard, and valued.

James attended Erskine College in SC & The Catholic University of America in Washington DC.

Sunday is responsible for the internal operations providing consultative immigration services to US practice offices, business leadership, resources management and recruiting regarding immigration strategies for the employment of foreign nationals working in the US. She developed and implemented an International Travel Compliance Policy that supported 12,000 business t​ravelers' trips which are evaluated for compliance with local immigration and tax regulations. She has also managed a team that supported an expatriate population of 300. Sunday has worked at EY for 23 years including 15 years in Immigration and Global Mobility and 8 years in Partnership Retirement Benefits. She holds a B.S. in Accounting and International Business from The Ohio State University.
