Shari Merrill, SPHR, is a manager on the Educational Products at SHRM where she helped develop and launch the SHRM Competency Assessment Tools. Prior to joining the team in 2013, Shari was a Global Executive Advisor at CEB, working across the London and Washington D.C. offices. She specializes in international product development, program management and HR strategic planning. She received a Masters in International Relations from The London School of Economics and her Bachelor’s Degree from The George Washington University.

Tripp Crosby is most widely known as the taller half of Tripp and Tyler, a world famous YouTube sketch comedy duo with over 25 million views.  Their work has been featured on the Today Show, CNN Headline News, and multiple times on the homepage of YouTube. 

Tripp is also the founder of Green Tricycle Studios in Atlanta, GA, an  award-winning commercial, music video, and branded entertainment production company.  Their work has been seen on multiple television networks and by millions on the world wide web. 

When he's not producing new sketches with Tyler or leading his team at Green Tricycle,  Tripp can be seen across the globe hosting  events and ceremonies for worldwide brands such as GiANT, InComm, and Delta.

Bruce Elliott is Manager of Compensation and Benefits for SHRM. Having held senior C&B roles at the director and VP level, Mr. Elliott came to SHRM with a wealth of domestic and international experience, that includes a 4 year assignment to the United Kingdom. Mr. Elliott’s 20+ year career in Compensation and Benefits has focused on developing, implementing and managing domestic and international compensation and benefit programs for a number of publically listed companies including EADS, North America, Experian, Western Union/First Data Corporation,  Credit Suisse First Boston, UBS and Standard and Poors/McGraw-Hill.

He has a B.S in Business and Psychology from Boston College, a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Springfield College and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at George Washington University. He also holds CCP and CBP Certifications.

Edie Goldberg, Ph.D., is the president of E.L. Goldberg & Associates in Menlo Park, Calif. She is a nationally recognized expert in HR and talent management strategy and organizational effectiveness. She is the co-author of The Inside Gig: How Sharing Untapped Talent Across Boundaries Unleashes Organizational Capacity. Edie earned her Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Albany, SUNY, and she earned a B.S. and M.S. in psychology from San Diego State University. She serves on the board of the SHRM Foundation, is past chair of HR People + Strategy (HRPS), and is  a fellow of the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She is the recipient of the HRPS Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions made to the HR profession.

Beth O’Brien, CMP, is the Program Manager, Conferences at SHRM where she helps to manage educational programming and speaker logistics for SHRM conferences as well as the mobile app for annual conference.  Prior to working at SHRM, Beth was the Conference and Meetings Manager at the National Association for College Admission Counseling.  She received her Masters of Tourism Administration with a focus on Event and Meeting Management from The George Washington University (DC) and her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University (VA). 

Dr. Sheri Caldwell received an undergraduate degree in Industrial Organization Psychology from Bowling Green State University (BGSU).  She also received her MBA and Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from the University of Toledo.   

Dr. Caldwell is currently the HR Director for the Grain Group at The Andersons and is the former Vice-President of HR at Hickory Farms.  She taught undergraduate through Ph.D. level HR courses at BGSU, The University of Findlay and The University of Toledo and is currently teaching at Lourdes and Sullivan University.

She has her SPHR certification and is very involved in her community serving on several boards. 

Dr. Caldwell is a co-author of Got A Solution - HR Approaches to Five Common and Persistent Business Problems, the just released sequel to the best-selling SHRM publication, Got A Minute – The 9 Lessons Every HR Professional Must Learn to be Successful, both with Dr. Dale Dwyer, and Developing Emotional Intelligence In Others with Dr. Linda Gravett. 

Jessica Collison is currently the Strategic Planning Director at SHRM. She has held roles in survey research, competitive intelligence, product development and market research. Jessica is a leader, organizer, planner, connector, change maker, strategist, introvert, mentor, intern wrangler, backyard farmer, dog lover, sailor, analyzer, researcher, facilitator, and a native Floridian currently residing in Alexandria, Virginia. She has a BA in Spanish from FIU and a graduate certificate in survey design and analysis from GWU.

Sharlyn Lauby is an author, writer, speaker and consultant. She has been named a Top HR Digital Influencer and is best-known for her work on HR Bartender, a friendly place to talk about workplace issues. HR Bartender has been recognized as one of the Top 5 Blogs read by HR professionals by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and best business blog by the Stevie Awards.

Publications such as Reuters, The New York Times, ABC News, The Wall Street Journal, and Mashable have sought out her expertise on topics related to human resources and the workplace. Sharlyn is the author of “Essential Meeting Blueprints for Managers,” and ”Manager Onboarding: 5 Steps for Setting New Leaders Up for Success,” which are available in the SHRM Store.
